Justin’s Nut Butter Giveaway! (With Recipe)

Justins-Jars-Packs-Cups

We’re finally doing a giveaway! We’ve been working on this behind the scenes for a while now, and can finally bring you the very first Organic Gardening blog giveaway.

When we decided to do this, we were adamant about finding great prizes for you all. Prizes that we know our readers will love and enjoy and (gasp!) actually use. And this first one is perfect. A set of Justin’s Nut Butters (1 jar, a set of 10 travel pouches, and 4 peanut butter cups) to use and enjoy. If you’ve ever tried Justin’s Nut Butters, I don’t have to explain to you why I’m so excited. But if you haven’t, just know that they’re perfect sweet, rich butters, that still taste like the nuts they’re made from. The little travel pouches are a delicious form of portion control, and the peanut butter cups taste like something from a chocolate shop.

I was so giddy about this giveaway that I decided to create a recipe using my favorite, Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter, so everyone can get in on the goodness. The Greek yogurt and nut butter make it a healthy, high-protein sweet treat.

Ice Cream

Chocolate & Hazelnut Frozen Yogurt

1 cup greek yogurt (I use nonfat)

1/3 cup Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter (or substitute with your favorite Justin’s Nut Butter)

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons agave syrup

Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Pour into an ice cream maker and blend for 10 minutes until frozen. Serve and Enjoy! This recipe can be doubled or tripled based on ice cream maker size. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, just freeze the mixture until almost solid, then blend in a high-powered blender.
